June 30 Mud Drags benefit Willamina 4th

The Willamina Mud Drags are coming June 30.

Roaring vehicles will tear through the mud at Adams and Lincoln streets starting at 10 a.m. The double-elimination races will have 11 classes, four of them powder puff, and trophies and cash will be awarded.

Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. No alcohol, dogs, open flames or bikes are allowed.

General admission is $5, free for children under 8. The entry fee is $35 for truck and driver, or $25 for powder puff. Pit passes are $15 per person. The entry limit is 110 vehicles.

Proceeds will fund the Willamina Fourth of July Fireworks.
